The Freedom & Flourish Gala

This Refund and Cancellation Policy governs all ticket purchases for The Freedom & Flourish Gala scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2026, in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined herein.

3.1 All Sales Are Final

3.2 Event Insurance Recommendation

We strongly recommend that all ticket purchasers obtain event insurance through a third-party provider. Event insurance may provide coverage for:

• Illness or medical emergencies preventing attendance
• Travel disruptions or transportation issues
• Work conflicts or scheduling emergencies
• Family emergencies or unforeseen circumstances

The Organizer is not affiliated with any insurance provider and makes no guarantees regarding insurance coverage or claims.

3.3 No Refunds for Rescheduling

In the event that the Gala is rescheduled to a different date, no refunds will be issued. Original tickets will be honored for the new date. Ticket holders who cannot attend the rescheduled date may transfer their tickets per Section 4.

SECTION 4

Ticket Transfer Policy

While non-refundable, tickets may be transferred to another qualified individual. Transfers are permitted up to 48 hours before the Event:

• Written notification must be submitted via email.
• One transfer per individual ticket is permitted.
• Corporate table transfers require original purchaser authorization.

All transfer requests must be submitted no later than 14 business days before the Event. Transfer requests received after this deadline cannot be accommodated.

SECTION 5

Cancellation by Organizer

5.1 Event Cancellation

If the Event is cancelled by the Organizer and not rescheduled, ticket holders will receive a refund less a processing fee:

• Individual Tickets: Refund of ticket price minus $25 processing fee
• Corporate Tables: Refund of table price minus $75 processing fee

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14 business days of the cancellation announcement.

5.2 Event Rescheduling

If the Event is rescheduled, no refunds will be issued:

• All original tickets will be honored for the new date
• Ticket holders will be notified via email
• Ticket holders who cannot attend may transfer per Section 4

5.3 Venue Changes

Minor venue changes within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex do not constitute cancellation and do not qualify for refunds.

SECTION 6

Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including:

• Acts of God, natural disasters, severe weather events
• Pandemic, epidemic, or public health emergency
• Government orders, restrictions, or mandatory closures
• War, terrorism, civil unrest, or national emergency
• Venue unavailability beyond the Organizer's control
• Utility failures, power outages, or infrastructure emergencies

Force Majeure events are treated as rescheduling and do not entitle ticket holders to refunds. Event insurance is recommended.

SECTION 7

How to Request a Transfer

Submit all transfer requests in writing via email to:

Required information:

• Full name of original purchaser
• Order/confirmation number
• Email address used at purchase
• New attendee's full legal name, email, and phone number

The Organizer will acknowledge receipt within two business days and confirm within five business days.

SECTION 8

Texas Law Compliance

This Policy complies with the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices-Consumer Protection Act (DTPA), Texas Business & Commerce Code Chapter 17.

Consumer Rights under Texas law:

• Clear disclosure of refund policies before purchase
• Accurate and non-misleading information about the Event
• Right to file a complaint with the Texas Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division
• Right to seek remedies under the DTPA if subjected to deceptive trade practices

Dispute Resolution: Any disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation, then mediation before litigation. This Policy is governed by Texas law, with venue in Rockwall County, Texas.

SECTION 9

Limitation of Liability

The Organizer's total liability under this Policy shall not exceed the ticket purchase price. The Organizer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including travel expenses, accommodation costs, lost wages, or any other costs associated with Event attendance or non-attendance.
