Deposit & Refund Policy

1. Non-Refundable Deposits

All retreat deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances. Your deposit secures one of our limited seats and immediately locks in venue contracts and vendor arrangements. This policy aligns with standard DMC practices and Texas Business & Commerce Code requirements.

2. Deposit Transfer Options

While deposits are non-refundable, they ARE transferable to another qualified participant under the following conditions:

• Transfers must be requested up to 60 days before the retreat start date (before April 19, 2026).
• To initiate a transfer, notify us at contact@dfwjuneteenthretreat.com.
• Limit: One transfer per booking.
• The new attendee must meet all retreat eligibility criteria and complete registration.

3. Balance Payments & Cancellation Timeline

The remaining balance after your deposit is due by April 19, 2026 (60 days before the retreat).

*All credits are valid toward future Change Purpose Action Coaching LLC events within 12 months of issue.

4. Gala Ticket Policy

Gala tickets included in retreat packages are non-refundable and non-transferable separately. If you cancel your retreat registration, you forfeit your gala admission. Standalone gala tickets purchased separately follow separate terms.

5. Corporate & Group Bookings

• Corporate Tables: 80% non-refundable payment due at signing. Remaining 20% due February 18, 2026.
• Group Bookings: Group coordinators remain financially responsible for all reserved seats. Individual seat cancellations follow the standard policy above.

6. Cancellation by Organizer

In the unlikely event of complete retreat cancellation due to force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, government orders), registered guests will receive:

• A full refund including deposit, OR
• Credit toward a rescheduled retreat or future event.

8. Legal Compliance & Disputes

This policy complies with the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA) and FTC regulations. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be governed by Texas law and resolved in the courts of Rockwall County, Texas.
